Katedra Oliwa is located in the city of Gdańsk, in the Oliwa district of the city. On July 2, 1186, Sambor I Gdański, Prince of Pomerania, founded a Cistercian Monastery and the history of the Cathedral began.The cathedral is 17.7m high, 19m wide and 107m long which making it the longest Cistercian church in the world.
